My name is Paul James, and I am the founder of the company. I have led an eclectic existence, living, and working on four continents. I am a former military man, aircraft engineer, semi-pro footballer, national security consultant, international businessman and published author.
After a military career in the Royal Air Force as an aircraft engineer, followed by 20 years working in high-level corporate business at senior management level for blue-chip organisations and government departments, I finally made the decision to do what I really had wanted to do all of my life, which was to work for myself in the Health, Wellness & Fitness supplements world, supplying to both men and women.
I have played many sports to a high standard throughout my adult life, previously coaching and playing semi-professional level soccer, and I am a qualified Aerobics/Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer and have always been fascinated and kept abreast of dietetics and health supplements.
I knew exactly what I wanted to do, and who I wanted to work with, so I did my research, due-diligence and wrote a business plan, built my website, and set up with my US partners and suppliers, then launched VITAKALOS, and went to work.
The colors of the logo originate from the earth and the sun, ergo it was only fitting that the name was borne through the combination of two ancient languages: VITA from the Latin meaning Life, and KALOS from the Greek meaning Good, hence the slogan GOOD LIFE.
Since the successful launch of VITAKALOS, I have never been happier, more inspired, and motivated, or indeed more fulfilled than I am right now, and that is why I will always pledge to our customers our most excellent and professional service.
